Sherman: Twice served as Committeeman on the Kiowa Business Committee and previously served as Tribal Administrator and Program(s) Director for Kiowa Tribe and Kalispel Reservation in Washington State. Began full-time fine arts career in 1982 and have exhibited art works in numerous museums and established galleries across the United States and internationally. Education includes study at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM and at the University of Central Oklahoma at Edmond, OK. Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army with decorations from Viet Nam Service, 1968-69.
